Here's a mood board I finished for a client that is a young professional woman working from home 3 days a week. She was tired of her old home office space and didn't feel inspired to work at all. These fun and fresh elements will be really motivational. The engineered hard wood in the room is medium grey tone so a light grey wall colour (Silver Satin by Benjamin Moore) will be extremely soothing. If you can, have doors on your home office so you can have privacy when you're working but a boundary when you are not. It's important for work/life balance to close the door after hours so work stress isn't interfering with family time.
